Hollywood Unlocked, hosted the 4th Annual Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, an evening dedicated to recognizing role models, celebrities, and icons who have made a significant impact on culture.

Tonight in Los Angeles, Hollywood Unlocked and its CEO and Founder Jason Lee hosted the 4th Annual 2024 Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards recognizing role models, celebrities, and icons who have made a lasting effect on the culture. The evening was packed with memorable moments honoring notables: Cardi B, Jonathan Majors, Fat Joe, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, Christian Louboutin, Da Brat, Ben Crump and Sharon Stone.
I got a chance to speak with Jason Lee, who CEO and Founder, of the Hollywood Unlocked. Jason expressed to me that it was important to him to he bring things to the Impact Awards Show, that lift the culture and he did just that! Inspiration, healing, Joy and Compassion filled the room!
Comedian and Emmy award-winning actor Tiffany Haddish returned to host the show for a third year, and Grammy Award-Winning gospel artist Karen Clark Sheard lifted our Souls with her singing and music.
The event was filled with so many life changing moments, honoring and recognizing role models, celebrities, and icons who have made a significant impact on culture.
Cardi B CEO of Hollywood Unlocked Jason Lee presented the Inspiration Award to longtime friend and Grammy award-winning rapper Cardi B.
Rap icon Fat Joe was honored with the Culture Award, presented by Carolina Panthers Quarterback Cam Newton, who humorously remarked, “He’s got more hits than I have hats. And trust me, I’ve got a lot.”
Christian Louboutin, one of the world’s most well-known shoe designers, was presented with the Innovator Award by Hollywood icon Sharon Stone who said “Tonight we pay homage to a true visionary…those soles are the Rolls Royce of stilettos.
Jonathan Majors with the Perseverance Award which was presented to him by renowned spiritual teacher and inspirational speaker, Iyanla Vanzant. Jonathan Majors humbly and tearfully received the honor by delivering an impassioned acceptance speech which thanked Jason Lee for catalyzing change, criticized the criminal justice system, expressed gratitude for a number of celebrities who offered their support in his time of need, and promised to support others as they persevere. Excerpts from Jonathan’s acceptance speech are included below.
Da Brat and her wife Jessica Harris-Dupart were honored with the Spirit Award, presented by Disney channel alum Raven-Symoné.
Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett was presented with the Social Impact Award by reality TV star Marlo Hampton. Crockett expressed gratitude for being recognized for her dedication to representing her constituents, saying, “When people say you are going to be their representation, you really should do your best to make sure…you represent them. I am grateful to be acknowledged for simply doing my job.” Attorney Ben Crump, a champion of civil rights, received the Community Award from Jasmine Crockett, who referred to him as her mentor. In an endearing moment, six-year-old Malcolm Bell, Jason Lee’s “official” campaign manager for his Stockton political run, took the stage to encourage everyone to vote.
